The “I Buy Nearby” program makes it easy for you to find out about the many unique locally-owned businesses, restaurants, stores and services in our community. Look for the “Hawaii Owned & Independent” sign in store windows or use the “Shop Nearby” directory (at left) to find listings of locally owned and independent merchants. You can find out more about the company, get a location map and add your own comments by clicking on the company name once you are on the directory page.
Our online directory is a great way to discover one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants in our community that you may not have heard about because they are often have a limited advertising budget (not like those big national chains).
Special “Buy Nearby” events and a coupon book are also planned to making shopping nearby even more fun and while you save money!
