Skyclock shows dawn, dusk, day and night
Instantly know today’s day, night, and twilight times
Our Skyclock displays the changing daylight hours for the windward side of Oahu. It shows the daylight hours in blue and night hours in black and twilight periods in orange. Sunset and sunrise are the dotted red lines.
You can switch between the 24-hour view and the 12-hour view by clicking on the top right of the clock.
Hawaii is so much closer to the equator than the mainland. Because of Hawaii’s position on the globe:
- Hawaii twilight periods are typically shorter in duration than on the mainland
- There is less variability through the year in sunrise, sunset, and twilight times in Hawaii
- People visiting Hawaii from the mainland are often surprised that sunset can occur earlier in the day than ‘back home’
